Right now, I’m a research engineering intern at Sesame in New York. I study CS at the University of Waterloo, but
I’m interested in creating interfaces with taste that make interacting with computers feel like magic. I think it’s an exciting time to be alive and I try to make the most of it by applying maximal effort to my pursuits and living with consistency.
I spend most of my time tinkering with software but I am into many things!
- Producing EDM – I’m an independent artist with 1.8M+ streams on Spotify. In the past, I’ve released music under labels Nightblue Music and All41 Records.
- Photography – Mainly street and landscape shots, but also portraits for friends. My Japan pics went kinda viral.
- Videography – A story I filmed about how 4 Canadians conquered Yosemite’s Half Dome.
- Language Learning – I read and speak 4 languages: English, French, Mandarin, and Japanese (in roughly that order of fluency).
- Cultivating third spaces – Because creating and sharing projects with friends is one of the great joys of life
- Athleticism – Calisthenics and long-distance running.
In past lives, I’ve lived in Tokyo, San Francisco, Lausanne, Ottawa, and Waterloo for work/school.
